14 years, used daily all summer long, and it looks brand new. This is the best, most comfortable hammock I have ever used.

The construction of this hammock is impressive. The hammock comes with two very large screws and hook you twist into a tree or post (pass a screw driver through the eye and the screw will go right into the wood very easily). Each end of the hammock has a large metal ring and about 12 inches of chain. You use the chain to adjust the hanging tension. From the two big rings, there are many healthy white ropes that pass through the nice thick heavily varnished piece of oak, to heavy duty metal grommets. Those grommets are attached to a very thick layer of heavy duty cloth. The cloth is in turn sewen into the soft cotton quilt of the hammock.

Comfort of this hammock is incredible. The quilting has just enough soft batting inside each tube that there's some cushioning. The flip side of the hammock is a solid color.

This is a luxury beyond imagination. I've logged many hours reading, watching movies on my portable DVD player, listening to music, sleeping, or just looking at clouds and the leaves of our 90 year old maple. One of the best investments I've ever made in outdoor furniture.

This stand is the brute force, take no prisoners kind of swing stand and it is wonderful! 80 some pounds of 12 gauge powder coated metal that is not going to tip over or rust.
I wanted a swing stand that could stand up to use, I believe I have it.
My kind of furniture. Easy to put together. Shipped pretty quick.
Swing chairs are great but it gets kinda complicated when you get to stands, some are prone to tip, have low weight limits and you really do not want to ask a guest "Say, before you sit in that, what do you weigh?" Not cool.
Neither is dumping someone on the ground. This stand takes care of those concerns and I am very pleased with it.

I own two other hammocks, but got this one (actually got two) so that EVERY member of my family could sleep in a hammock. A couple of features that make this one inferior to the other hammocks I own. First, the ropes are too short. I've had to augment with extra rope (I'd recommend 100" on each side). Second, the parachute portion is just adequate for me and I'm only 5'8". Finally, the canopy system on this one is a bigger hassle than my other hammocks, which require no threading through loops.

I do find this hammock to flatten out better when you lay diagonally as recommended. My other hammocks, which feature a larger parachute, don't flatten as easily.

For the price, this is a great hammock.

I just hung the chair/swing last night, and so far so good. Very comfortable and relaxing. The hammock chair is large - it supports from behind my head down past my feet, with room to spare (and I'm 5'9"). I hope the seat ropes do not stretch out. It did not come with any hardware to hang it. I purchased 2 feet of chain and an S hook from Home Depot for less than and hanging it was simple. Delivery was SUPER FAST - arrived in 2 days (from Mexico to NY)!! Looking forward to spending lots of time in it this summer!

We live in Redding, CA, where it gets HOT and stays hot. Fortunately we have a swimming pool (or I would die), but I hate those awful vinyl pool loungers that stick to your skin.
